CTAUN focuses on teaching children about living responsibly in a world made increasingly interdependent by globalization. We support educators in addressing:
CTAUN provides opportunities for educators to learn, understand, and appreciate the work of the UN and to incorporate global awareness into curricula and school activities at all levels. Annual conferences for educators and concerned citizens attract participants from the US, Latin America, Europe and Africa. "Best Practices Awards" are presented to professionals who develop their own curricula and projects to teach children about the UN and global challenges.
