Connecticut State ScholarshipsScholarships are offered to financially assist members of Connecticut State Organization who are enrolled in accredited programs of graduate study or who attend national/regional professional workshops and/or institutes.
*Please Note: Scholarships are for graduate study or study at workshops outside of DKG and may NOT be used to fund attendance or participation at DKG events, conferences and conventions. |
Three scholarships are available each fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Scholarships are awarded in the fall and the spring, or as long as the designated scholarship amount is available:

Submitting an Application:
Applications for workshops and/or institutes may be submitted at any time during the year, as long as the application is submitted within six (6) months of attendance at the workshop/institute.
Applications for a program of graduate study may be submitted at any time during the year, as long as the application is submitted within six (6) months prior to entering the program of graduate study, while the applicant is currently enrolled in the program, or within six months of the applicant’s completion of the program.

Criteria for Eligibility:
- 2 years membership in good standing in Delta Kappa Gamma
- Endorsement from the chapter president (Download the form here and submit to the Scholarship Chair)

- International Scholarships for doctoral studies are $10,000.
- International Scholarships for graduate studies are $6,000.
- The application will be available July 1 at www.dkg.org.
- The completed application and documentation are due February 1.
- $0.20 of the $1.00 scholarship fee goes to the international scholarship fund and $0.80 stays with you for state organization and chapter scholarship funds.
- Donations or bequest to the International Scholarship Fund are tax deductible for the U.S. and some other countries.
- Since 1940, the Society has awarded $4,757,500 to 1090 members.
- Over all, DKG at the international, state organization and chapter levels give approximately $3,000,000 a year in scholarships, grants and project support.
